Welcome to Firth Steels
Firth Steels is an independent company, established as one of the leading manufacturers of profiled metal sheeting to the UK building industry.
We started life in 1983 selling products for the shipbuilding industry and stocking spring steel from Western Europe. Our next development, around 1986, was to change the whole aspect of Firth Steels; a roll-forming line was purchased and the company started producing roofing and cladding profiles.
Our success in this area led us to expand and produce 3 floor decking profiles; and in 1998 we bought a 50% shareholding in our main customer SMD - Structural Metal Decks Ltd.
In 2006 we were able to move to our state of the art facilities in Brighouse, and with the additional upgrade of all our roll - forming lines it has enabled us to produce the highest quality products efficiently, and with a greater degree of flexibility.
Firth Steels is an innovative company, and we continue our tradition of bringing new products to the market. 2007 has brought the introduction of our 60mm roof-decking profile; adding a further strength to our metal decking business.
We believe in providing quality products at competitive prices, with time precision delivery. Adding to this, we offer technical and product support to make sure we satisfy the needs of all our customers.
